Presidents Day

We decided a few weeks ago with some friends that we wanted to do something fun for the long weekend. Chad even worked it out so that we could leave Thursday night instead of Friday after work. This never happens so I was pretty excited. St. George is the easiest place to go because we have a place to stay and a willing babysitter. This is a picture of Leighton and Jack getting ready to go on their first bike ride in STG. On Saturday the girls went to the Parade of Homes and the boys went mountain biking. The houses were amazing as usual but I don't recommend taking 4 kids with you.
Saturday night we roasted marshmallows and chit chatted. This is the lovely Christin Buck that came to hang out. I love her and don't see enough of her!So nice to get away and have a good time! Thanks mom and dad for letting us come stay!

Hey, you need to look me up the next time you are in town, it would be good to see you and meet your hubby and cute little one.

yeah, i was talking to him about reunion stuff and asked how you guys were doing. Then he said,"you need to update you blog!" so, i probably over-harrassed him back for bugging me about it. ;) Anyway, it got updated, which needed to be done. So a big thanks for him for bugging me about it! ;) Your trip down here looks like you had a lot of fun. We sure love the warmer weather. I don't know how you stand being in the cold. Well, better go. I will try to update more regularly. ;)

I don't know how, but I must have accidentally deleted my link to your blog. I realized it the other day when I started wondering "Why haven't I seen an update from Elise in so long?!?" So I've just been catching up on the last few months in your life. Leighton is so cute! What an adorable 1-year-old. We got some big news this past week (and made a big decision). Tyson got a promotion, and we are transferring to the Philadelphia area for it. Goodbye, Utah! I'm excited but nervous. I know we haven't seen each other in years, but I will miss being close by! Take care!
