Sleeping like babies

We've been in St. George since Thursday night.

It's now Saturday afternoon and these 2 have been going non stop.

They both finally crashed and I couldn't help but take some pictures.

Schaeffer "slept like a baby" all through Wal Mart.

Leighton couldn't handle it any longer and fell asleep coloring with Grandpa.

I'm sure glad that my kids love coming here as much as I do.

Big boy turns 1

My favorite little boy turns 1.

We put together an "Under the Sea" party to celebrate the big day.

We had all of our favorite people over for dinner and a little fun.

Schaeffer got some fun toys (sandbox, wiggle car, slip n slide, some cute clothes and lot's of other fun toys).

He actually really liked his cake.  He sat there and ate it for quite awhile.

Now we just need this little boy to walk!  He is pretty stubborn when it comes to practicing.

Officially Easter :)

The Washington City Easter Egg Hunt.

My parents started a random but fun new Easter tradition. They hid 100 eggs in their backyard at night and we had to all come out with headlamps on to find them.

Early Easter

We celebrated Easter a week early with the Ashby's because everyone will be gone next weekend. We celebrated McCall's birthday and also celebrated the last time we will be together until late August. McCall is headed to Uganda for the summer. The kids had a great time finding eggs and and coloring eggs.

10 Months

We are loving the warmer weather that this winter has brought. The kids have been able to play outside quite a bit. On Monday Leighton and her friend met up outside to drive with their brave passengers.

Schaeffer is 10 months old today. His 1st year is flying by! He has been crawling and climbing on everything forever. Still not walking... but hopefully soon... he is heavy!

Recent Fun!

This is a picture taken at the rec center in Washington. That place is awesome! I wish they would have had it when i was growing up there. In the beginning Leighton had to go down the slide with some help but she got brave and did it a few times all by herself.

We have had fun shopping and being out and about. Schaeff and Kaylynn were so cute sharing a stroller. As soon as we get him walking I think they are going to have a lot of fun together.

Leighton is sound asleep on our way out of Costco in St. George. She doesn't function real well without her afternoon nap.

Little buddy turns 10 months old this week. He could sleep better at night but other than that we think he is pretty perfect.

On Friday's we go with friends to an open gym at Arete gymnastics. It is actually so much fun for the kids and me. We are in the process of signing Leighton up for a weekly class and I think she is going to love it.

Valentine's day was fun. We decorated cookies with the Ashby's and we surprised daddy at work. He bought Leighton a rose inside a balloon that she thought was so cool. After packing it everywhere we went that day it ended up popping. She was so upset so the next day Chad bought another one because they were on clearance sale.
