Halloween 2015

I've been working on hard on little L's new bedroom.  I couldn't ever find quite the right vinyl flowers for the right price so I made the insane decision to just paint them myself.  They turned out fun and colorful but to say they were time consuming would be an understatement.  I originally drew out what I wanted on the wall and then plugged it into a projector so that I could trace it onto her wall where I wanted it.  It sure helps to have a techy neighbor that has all of the fun equipment to make that happen.
On the opposite side of the wall I wanted something bold.  Stripes seemed like the obvious choice and so did sparkly gold.  The little gallery wall above her head has a few signs that I found at #TJMaxx and #HobbyLobby plus a little hand painted lady that my grandma made many years ago.  She originally painted it for my mom as a little girl and then it hung in my room and now it is in my daughters.  Kinda special!

10 Year Wedding Anniversary

For our anniversary we took a ranger ride with the kids and some neighbors.  Hopefully we can use one of these pics with some tweaking for our Christmas Card.
