Viva Las Vegas

We had a fun shopping weekend in Las Vegas. The goal was for everyone to get all of their Christmas shopping finished. I'm not sure if that was accomplished but we had lots of fun.

This pretty much sums up our weekend...

I woke up Thanksgiving night with the worst stomach ache. 24 hours later it had spread like crazy to everyone we'd been in contact with. So pretty much we haven't left the couch all weekend.

Fortunately my parents had come to town for the BYU game and took good care of the baby.
Unfortunately we sent them home today with my poor mom puking her guts out.

Unfortunately Chad wasn't able to attend the football game because he was that sick.
Fortunately he was able to watch it on TV while Joe Durfey went in his place.

Unfortunately I have now had the Swine Flu and the stomach flu. I think I've been sick 20 out of 30 days in November.
Fortunately I think that means I'm good to go for the next year!

Happy Thanksgiving!

We had a great Thanksgiving. We stayed around and had lunch with Chads immediate family. Later that evening we met at his grandparents house for dinner with everyone. That morning we met with the Spencers to take some family pictures for them

We have lots to be Thankful for and it's great to have 1 day a year that's dedicated to that

It's not even Thanksgiving...

We officially have our tree up! In the 4 years that Chad and I have been married we've never put up a tree. I thought it was a hassle and didn't want 2. I still think it's a hassle but I figured I need to help make Christmas traditions and memories for Leighton (I know she can't remember yet).My favorite thing about this tree are the little ceramic hand painted ornaments that my grandma and aunt painted for me. There were so many of them and I can't even imagine how long it took them to finish them all. Definitely something that will be cherished for a long time.

Logan

We took a quick trip to Logan to visit Mccall 4 parents weekend at Utah State. I think I've only been back once since I graduated 5 or 6 years ago. We ate at one of my favorite restaurants and got to hang out and have family time. It's sure a cute town to visit but I could never live there again..way 2 COLD!

Halloween 09

I guess I figured that I'd have many years of princesses and butterfly's for Halloween so for Leightons first costume she got to be a skeleton. It was easy and cheap! We went to a Halloween party at Abbie and Nicos house. Go figure we were hunters.

My work had a Halloween party so Steph and I did practice runs with our kids and brought them along. She is a mess but I still thought she was the funniest/cutest thing.
